Bartolo Colon named NL Player of the Week

Bartolo Colon was named the National League Player of the Week. Colon, over two starts, threw 17 shutout innings, including a complete game shutout on Saturday, September 5th in Miami. Colon became the oldest Mets pitcher ever to throw a shutout, and the oldest to throw a complete game since Warren Spahn in 1965. Colon has not allowed a run in 25 innings.
